excited that they talked loudly over and over again.

M: My father drove there and back. It was very late when they returned

This afternoon a girl named Angela came to the police station and

told me that she had lost her wallet. I asked her where she was and

when she had her wallet lost, but she said she didn’t know. She only

remembered that she had her wallet on the bus. After she bought a bus

ticket she put it back in her bag. But she didn’t have it at lunchtime

when she went to a café. She said there were 19 dollars in the wallet.

She was sure she saw her wallet when she got her address book out and

she didn’t take it out of her bag all the morning. It was a brown wallet

and quite big, with a phone card in it. Her telephone number is
