 Macaroni cheese
Ingredients:
100g of macaroni 100g of cheese
300ml of skimmed milk 25g of flower
25g of butter breadcrums
  Method:
1. Pre-heat the oven to 180°C / 350°F / Gas Mark 4
2. Cook macaroni in lightly salted boiling water and drain.
3. Melt the margarine in a saucepan
4. Add flour and cook over a low heat for 1 minute, stirring all the time
5. Remove from the heat and cool slightly
6. Add the milk, salt and pepper beating all the time
7. Return to the heat and bring to the boil. Keep stirring
8. Reduce heat and cook slowly for 5 minutes
9. Add the grated cheese around 2 minutes before serving
10. Add cooked macaroni to cheese sauce and pour into a large pie dish
11. Top with grated cheese and breadcrumbs
12. Bake in the pre-heated oven for 20 minutes
