THE DEPTH OF RAISED BEDS
Whether square or rectangular, the depth of the
raised bed is very important. Ideally, you want to
have the raised bed as deep as possible to enable the
roots to fully develop. A raised bed that is 12” deep
will accommodate most crops, but there are some
that will benefit from a deeper bed.
