  ROYAL EASTER SHOW
  12–23 April 2019
 CEO’s Show Report
The 2019 Sydney Royal Easter Show took 900,000+ visitors on a trip across New South Wales. From the District Exhibits Displays in the Woolworths Fresh Food Dome
to the cow milking and sheep shearing displays in The Shed, Showgoers saw produce from Alstonville to Young, with Kempsey and Quirindi in between. Livestock came from all over the country, including Miles in Queensland, Bullengarook in Victoria and Keyneton in South Australia. Entertainers came from near and far, including Ellerston in NSW, Boonah in Queensland, the prehistoric Jurassic World, the United States of America, Shanghai and even a pineapple under the sea.
As each entry ticket was scanned a dream began to come to life... some saw their first ever tractor or patted a pig
for the first time. Some came face to face with a rodeo
bull or Angora goat, and others discovered the majesty of showjumping, the sheer delight of a street parade and even the sweetness of fairy floss and fresh watermelon juice.
From fashion parades to floral design competitions, alpaca shearing to arts and crafts displays and activities galore for children, the Show absolutely delivered on the promise to make you happy.
Men and women of the Australian Defence Force received complimentary entry on 13 April and more than 15,000 poppies were dropped off at the Poppy Display in their honour, Thank a Farmer Day on 15 April raised much- needed funds for regional communities, and World Heritage Day on 18 April gave many a Showgoer a lesson in saddle and whip making as well as coach building.
