Water
Distilled water are available at the middle area of the lab. You are also given a distilled water
wash bottle on your bench. Please ensure that your wash bottle is well-filled at the beginning
of each practical session.
Waste
Only throw liquid products into the sink. Any solid or highly viscous products (cream/ ointment/
jelly/ paste/ suppository/ emulsion) should be thrown in a solid waste at the back of the lab
(yellow-coloured bin). If you are in doubt, ask any of the lab staff for help.
Residues of oil-based products (ointment/ cream/ suppository) should be cleaned from
your equipment/glassware by using saw dust which is available at the back of the lab. Leave
any saw dust in the saw dust box, and REMEMBER to avoid pouring saw dust into the sink.
