Amnesty International

Description: Amnesty International is a global human rights organisation which
promotes awareness, undertakes activism, and raises its voice against some
of the most critical current human rights infringements. In the club, students
will work to educate their peers about issues, help plan school events, and
occasionally fundraise. Students will have the opportunity to voice their opinions
and design creative solutions to help more people understand the issues
dominating the globe.
Skills learnt: Event planning, fundraising, team-work, research & IT skills.
Animal Club
Day: Monday & Tuesday
Time: Period 6
Venue: Biology
Open to: Exham – Third Form: Monday
Third Form – Upper Sixth: Tuesday
Selection: Open
MIC: Mrs K Perera & Mr G Webber
Description: Animal Club allows you to get to know the animals we have in
Biology and learn how to look after them. You will also feed and clean out the
animals so you gain experience of what it takes to be responsible for looking
after animals.
Skills learnt: Team work, life skills, leadership & responsibility.
