Hey Men,
I have never been as excited about a New Year as
I am 2018. I have seen life change in so many men, including myself, over the past 12 months like never before. New businesses launched, relationships mended and accountability received and accepted like never before.
There truly has been Iron Sharpening Iron.
The 12-Week Year continues to be a central focus. The men that have stayed with this have produced results that are even surprising themselves, what a great thing.
As we start 2018, I want you to narrow your focus and drill down to your area of genius.You don’t have to do everything, only a few things really well.You men rock and I’m proud to call you friend.

Everyone will tell you that time is the most valuable resource. Who would not pay any price to get just more time at the end?
I heard a Pastor once say that he doesn’t fear death, he looks forward to meeting Jesus face to face...but he’s not rushing to make it happen. While we may not be able to buy more time on our deathbeds, the decisions we make today can affect the chances of when that day comes.
I recently took an online quiz that calculated my ex- pected lifespan. It was shocking to see the numbers change based on my decisions today. Daily exercising was good for another 5 years. Not smoking or drinking could add some more years. Even always wearing my seatbelt changed the number.
As Karen and I talked about it got even more personal. Those decisions aren’t just years, they are experienc- es we will either enjoy or miss. Our kids growing up, grandchildred graduations, weddings, children, etc. The decisions we make today will impact so many.
When I get to heaven’s gates I hope to hear “Well done good and faithful servant”. They shouldn’t have to add in disappointment “we hadn’t planned on seeing you so soon. There was so much more you chose to skip.”
Let’s challenge each other to take care of the temple God gave us. Let’s all get younger this year.
