Remote installation decision making
perma Single Point Lubricators can be mounted either directly to an application using our wide options of accessories or can
be remote mounted when needed due to access and conditions. To determine best mounting options the following questions
should be considered.
Remote or Direct? Answer
1. There is no ready and safe access to the lubrication point? If yes to any, remote mounting
A. perma STAR VARIO 250 cc 2. Lubrication point can not be accessed when equipment is running? would be the best option.

What is the thread size of lubrication point? (All Lubricators are ¼” MNPT and require either an adaptor or support)
If direct mounting are there any obstructions which would require use of angled fittings and or extensions.
(See sample examples page 29-32).
If remote mounting - Suitable Bracket
Bracket best suited to Lubricator being used. ( “L” type brackets recommended for Electrochemical units and can also
accommodate 60 cc VARIO. “C” Type Brackets are recommended for 120 cc, and 250 cc VARIO and will also accommodate 60 cc VARIO)
