18. Coupling – Through Drive

The HPV-02 pumps can be configured with many

different through drive options:

(1) The pump may have just a mounting flange and cover

plate

(2) The pump may have a standard Linde charge pump
affixed to it with a through drive

(3) The pump may have a standard Linde charge pump
affixed to it along with a mounting flange (like shown in
this photo)

(4) The pump may have a charge pump affixed to it without
a through drive

(5) The pump may have another Linde pump affixed to it

For options “2” above, the through drive coupling will already be installed into the unit (it will be
part of the standard Linde charge pump shaft)

As shown above, the through drive coupling will normally be zip-tied to the unit. In rare cases, the

through drive coupling may be installed into the mounting flange area, and you may have to
remove the cover plate to locate the coupling.
