Engagement Required
1. Slip gland nut onto tubing or nipple. Tube Size Allowance Torque
2. Screw collar onto threaded end of tubing or nipple. Allow one or 0.49" 25 lb-ft

two threads to be exposed on tubing or nipple between collar and (12.4) 34 Nm

3. Lubricate male threads of gland nut with a non-hardening lubricant (17.3) 68 Nm

4. Insert tubing into female connection of valve or fitting. Screw gland (40.6) 203 Nm
into connection until finger-tight.
5. Tighten gland nut to torque value shown at right which corresponds
to connection size being assembled.
