Join Coach Andrew Toth and lean the game of Futsal! Futsal is a fun, fast paced game with lots of touches which encouraes quick thinking, teamwork and lots of movement on and off the ball! Player skill inproves dramatically in this environment.
Pee Wee Golf League
Ages 6-10
The Lakewood Recreation Pee Wee League is designed to introduce new players to the on- course golf experience. The Players have a 3 hole golf experience in a foursome including the Championship. A parent must accompany the player each morning concluding in a Champion- ship Tournament with donuts, juice boxes and trophies. All play will be at the beautiful Mastick Woods executive course located in the Rocky River Reservation at Puritas Road Each week, participants are given a 3 hole score card to sign and turn in. The goal is to have gol ng fun in a group experience. Each child must have his/her own equipment. Golf shoes are recommended but not required. Any shoes that may cause damage to greens (I.e. baseball/soccer cleats and lug soles) are not permitted. Golf shirts or neat t-shirts are to be worn. Sleeves are required on boys’ shirts. Basketball jerseys, tank tops, tube tops, mesh shirts, etc., are not permitted. Neat pants or mid-thigh length shorts with pockets are to be worn. Swimming attire, short-shorts, cut-offs athletic shorts, sweat pants, etc., is not permitted..

Cadet Golf League
Ages 8-13
The Lakewood Recreation Cadet League is for “transitional” junior golfers, The Cadet Four- somes will have tee times starting at 10am each Thursday for 8 weeks concluding in a Champion- ship Tournament with lunch and trophies. All play will be at the beautiful Mastick Woods executive course located in the Rocky River Reservation at Puritas Road. Each week as players arrive, the Junior Greens Fee of $7. 00 must be paid. Pull carts are available to rent ($3). Refunds only granted for cancellations made 48 hours or more prior to the event’s rst starting time. Each week, participants will be given golf etiquette tips at the 1st Tee. The goal is to have gol ng fun in a group experience. Each child must have his/her own equipment. Summer running program that instructs runners in the areas of training techniques, diet, and running form in addition to distance training runs, in preparation of the upcoming cross country season or road races. Included in the registration is participation in summer road race and kids fun run. Participants will also receive a t-shirt. Meet at Lakewood Park Kiwanis Pavilion. Participants must have quality running shoes in good condition and proper running attire. Bring full water bottle to each practice. This program will be conducted using public spaces and there will be times when the coaches do not have visual contact with all participants. Grades 3-5 will remain in Lakewood Park.
