Jack Scalia
An Emmy and multi nominated Actor as well as other
prestigious awards frame the career of the illustrious
Jack Scalia. Starring in more than 50 films, TV series, mini series
and indie films, Scalia also, writes, produces and directs. He has
two TV shows set for launch in 2018/2019, a talk TV show Citizen
Soldier slated for Dish, ROKU, Amazon Fire and Apple TV
produced through American Patriot TV Channel and Reach
For the Sky, celebrating and supporting Veterans and First
Responders.
Jack is a Brooklyn native of Italian and Irish decent who’s first
career was a professional baseball player. He was the #1 draft
pick for the Montreal Expos and 3rd overall pick in the 1971
Baseball Draft.
His rugged good looks landed him a career shift to modeling
and he joined the Ford Modeling Agency becoming the popular
“Jordache Jeans Man.” The success of his modeling career soon
made Jack particularly desirable to many casting directors. Jack’s first role was starring opposite Rock Hudson,
Suzanne Pleshette, and Melanie Griffith in Star Maker. Jack’s success as an actor continues and he has starred in a
near record thirteen television series. Dallas (nominated Best Actor in Nighttime Soap) Wolf, Remington Steele
and Pointman to name a few. In 2002, Jack received an Emmy Award nomination for Best Lead Actor in a
Daytime Drama Series category for his portrayal of Chris Stamp opposite Susan Lucci on All My Children. He also
landed roles in high profile miniseries such as Judith Krantz’s I’ll Take Manhattan and Jackie Collins’ Lady Boss for
which he was nominated for the Critics Award for Best Actor in a Miniseries. Jack’s other credits include Barbara
Taylor Bradford’s Everything to Gain, Deadly Desire, Fear City (opposite Tom Berenger and Melanie Griffith),
Hollywood Wives-The New Generation (opposite Farrah Fawcett) and the role of the controversial Joey Buttafuco
opposite Alyssa Milano in CBS’ Casualty of Love: The Long Island Lolita Story. Illicit Behavior, Shattered Image
(opposite Bo Derek), Torch Song (opposite Raquel Welch) Silencers, (co- produced by Jack’s own production
company). A career high was starring as the lead in a Pulitzer nominated play Red River Rats, written and
directed by John Piepilow. Jack starred in Wes Craven’s Red-Eye with Rachel McAdams, and in End Game
opposite Cuba Gooding, Jr. and James Woods. Jack also starred in recent independent film festival favorites
like Exit (Plantinum Award Winner at the Houston International Film Festival) and Taylor- Best Film (New
York International Independent Film Festival). Jack is heralded in the class of Bob Hope, Wayne Newton and
Gary Sinise for his work and devotion to our men and women who serve our country in the Military and as
First Responders. As a patriot and avid supporter of the US Military, Mr. Scalia joined US Army Brig General
David Grange (ret) in Iraq/Kurdistan December 2016 and a second tour to aid Christians in the Isis
ravaged Nineveh Plain in Kurdistan/Iraq in April of 2017. While shooting the film "Black Tulip" in Kabul,
Afghanistan in 2009 he spent more than two months with our Military in Bagram Air field, FOB Phoenix and
USMC SEC MAR US Embassy. In December of 2016 he hosted the 75th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor aboard the
USS Missouri flanked by Hawaii's Governor Ige, Arizona Governor Ducey and (then) 104 year old Pearl Harbor
Survivor Master Chief Ray Chavez. At this same celebration Scalia joined Gary Sinise, Garth Brooks and Trisha
Yearwood among many luminaries for the 75th Anniversary remembrances.
