6. God Rest Ye, Merry Gentlemen
“God Rest Ye, Merry Gentlemen Let nothing you dismay”
This is a very old traditional English Christmas Carol based upon a folk song melody.
This is probably the most unusual of my arrangements. It’s done in a much freer way than the others. I’ve broken down the melody and just use bits of it at times. Enjoy!
Top tip: Listen to the drum beat to keep the timing steady.
