The government built on an existing minimum support price (MSP) environment assuring farmers with 1.5 times the product cost across all commodities.
The Government announced an increase in agricultural credit to H 16.5 lakh Crs.
The scope of ‘Operation Green Scheme’ is now enhanced to include 22 perishable crops and integration of more than 1,000 mandis.
A One Nation-One Ration Card plan is under implementation by 32 States & UTs. Under the Stand Up India scheme for scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and women, the margin money requirement has been reduced from 25% to 15% (and including loans covering activities allied to agriculture).
