Faculty biographies

Rebecca Herst (piano department chair, piano) holds a Maria Isaak (bassoon, Purple Finches, chamber ensembles,
B.M. in Piano Performance from the Hartt School of Creative Arts Camp) received a master’s degree in Bassoon
Music at the University of Hartford. She has studied with Performance from the New England Conservatory and
Leonard Seeber and Paul Rutman with a concentration studied at the International School for Kodály Studies
in collaborative piano. Mrs. Herst has performed in in Hungary, where she earned her Kodály Specialist
New York, Connecticut, and Boston. She has served on Certificate. As a bassoonist, she has performed with the

Stephanie Ratté Jenkins (clarinet, woodwind ensembles)
received a B.M. in Music Education from the Crane

Peggo Horstmann Hodes (Songweavers) holds an M.A. in Performance from Michigan State University, where she
