“CCMS has had a greater impact on my life than any other institution. The
guidance I received enabled me to seriously pursue music at a high level. Perhaps
more importantly, though, the community taught me discipline, resourcefulness,
persistence, creative problem solving, and accountability. As a teacher I believe
that while every student may not be conservatory-bound, all students can attain
profound and tangible benefits through music.”
                    - Scott Kiefner, Jazz Department faculty member and Music School alumnus
