Using this healthcare coverage evaluation
1. Please verify that the information on your client data sheet on page 5 is correct.
If you see any changes that should be made, let us know.
2. Review the plans compared on pages 2-4, all of which appear to meet your

Medicare's Supplemental Coverage Options
There are four types of coverage that can be combined with Medicare.

Plans
Medigap policies do not include prescription drug coverage, and if you get a
Medigap policy you will also need to enroll in a stand-alone drug plan.
Employer Plans
• Usually the best options since most employers subsidize them
• Include union and career military plans
• Large employers typically offer several plan choices
Medigap Policies -- Pros and Cons
• Accepted by all doctors who accept Medicare
• Have the fewest restrictions on medical services
• Usually the most expensive type of coverage
Medicare Advantage Plans -- Pros and Cons
• Typically the lowest-cost options
• Are graded by Medicare for their quality
• May have high cost-sharing for expensive or out-of-network services
