THE REVIVAL OF SLAGW
As we come upon the last few weeks of 2017, we would like to remind our members and
readers once again to consider the Sri Lanka Association of Greater Washington for your
tax-deductible charitable donations. In the past, SLAGW has supported several charities
in Sri Lanka, including but not limited to: The NEST, Richmond Fellowship Lanka, Manrosa
Home of Love, HelpAge and The Ceylon School for the Deaf and Blind in Ratmalana and
Jaffna.
With its revival last year, we have been able to raise funds for flood relief efforts in Sri
Lanka almost immediately and look forward to continuing to offer opportunities for the Sri
Lankan-American community to contribute to much-needed relief funds in a timely manner.
We look forward to answering your questions and welcome your suggestions for charities
SLAGW should partner with in the 2018 fiscal year.
