Choc Nut Fat Bombs
Low carb diets (Keto) replace processed & refined sugar with good healthy fats. This recipe helps you to feel fuller for a longer period. Also great source of energy. You can eat them as a quick breakfast, mid-afternoon pick me up or pre or post workout snack since they do not disrupt ketosis. It’s also a delicious treat especially on cheat days!
RECIPE
Ingredients
. Macadamias - 2 cups
. Cacao butter - 1/2 cup
. Coconut oil - 1/2 cup
. Mct oil - 2 tblspn
. Coconut butter - 1 cup
. Coconut Sugar, agave, maple, honey or monkfruit - 1/2 cup . Toasted coconut - 2 cups
. Vanilla extract - tblspn
. Cacao powder - 1 tblspn
. Cinnamon - tblspn
Optional add natural Rice Puffs although this adds Carbs!
Method
In a pot melt butters & oils.
Put oil/butter in bowl, add cacao, cinnamon, sugar, vanilla, nuts, coconut (rice puffs if using), mix well. Spoon mix in a silicon muffin mould or cupcake wrappers & freeze 30 Mins or until set. Eat now or move to fridge. A fun recipe to make with kids. Enjoy!
