The biological treatment of pond water

It is important to monitor the pH, water hardness and oxygen content to keep the pond
in balance.
In addition to conventional maintenance, UBBINK® has developed a range of products
to improve the water quality of the pond, to accelerate the filter work or to fight against
unwanted algae.

Aqua MultiTest
The Aqua MultiTest test strips measure six indicators of the water status of the pond: pH, GH, KH, NO2, NO3 and CI2. Easy to use, the result is avail-
able within a minute. The leaflet presents a table of recommended products to be used according to the measurements taken. Each tube of Aqua
MultiTest allows the analysis of 50 water samples.

Aqua Start
Aqua Start is a liquid pond water care product ensuring a good biological balance and developing the following properties:
✓ Aqua Start stabilizes the acidity level (pH) of the water in the pool at a value between 6.5 and 7.5. Water is called “Alkaline” <6.5 - 7.5> Water is
called “Acid” (basic).
✓ Aqua Start binds to toxic substances that may be present in the pond water such as chlorine and heavy metals.
✓ Aqua Start also promotes the formation of the cutaneous mucosa of fish thanks to protective colloids.
Aqua Start is to be used at regular intervals of about four weeks, in spring, summer and in autumn.
