Caution: the yeagarup dunes 10km track
is best done on a separate occasion as it
is totally different to the forest drive and requires a 4WD, air compressor, snatch strap, shovel and another vehicle to assist in case of bogging in sand. the yeagarup Beach track is not suitable for suVs or aWDs. a 4WD with high clearance, recovery points, and low-range 4WD is required to complete this tricky 4WD-only track. stop at D’entrecasteaux NP registration station to lower your tyre pressure to about half the recommended pressure and engage 4WD. Be prepared to reverse to make way for oncoming vehicles!
