increasing pressure on churches to embrace their causes
and their views for “Social Justice”.
As a result, a few churches have formed alliances with
these secular organizations to pursue solutions to a
litany of social injustices. Some have embraced “Social
Justice” along with “Woke” repentance as their
preeminent approach for remediating injustices to
“racial” minorities and other so-called oppressed
groups. But “Woke” repentance is not repentance to
GOD; rather it is an act of submission and complete
sympathy with loyalty to so-called racial justice causes.
Wokeness is a token act that many embrace to cover
their alleged guilt from “racial” mistakes and
transgressions. Some are using it to shame others.
As we discussed in detail in Chapter 8, “Social Justice” is
contrary to GOD’s justice. It is inconsistent with the
Gospel. One of several serious issues is the overt lack of
forgiveness embodied in the “cancel culture” practices
of “Social Justice” warriors. This is why secular justice is
problematic for faithful followers of CHRIST. As we will
discuss in Chapter 10, CHRIST and CHRIST alone gave us
complete and lasting reconciliation. That reconciliation is
more than sufficient for overcoming the sins of “racial”
hate and strife. Therefore, churches that embrace
secular justice over the sufficiency of CHRIST’s
