we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of

need. There is no pain, no disappointment known to
humankind, which The LORD JESUS has not known and
overcome. Since our identity is in HIM, we are likewise

overcomers.

GOD is greater than our adversary. 1 John 4:4: You,
dear children, are from GOD and have overcome them,

because the ONE who is in you is greater than the one
who is in the world. We are of GOD, in GOD and

identified with GOD through CHRIST JESUS. Thus, the
Dark Realm has no jurisdiction over who we are.

GOD is comforting, compassionate, merciful, gracious,
and redemptive. Psalm 86:15: But You, O LORD, are a

GOD full of compassion and gracious, longsuffering, and
abundant in mercy and truth. HIS character is

transferred to us to become fully who HE created us to
be.

There is a clear difference between our self-identity

based on secular constructs and that which is anchored
in Biblical Truth. We can rejoice in the truth that our
identity is not so shallow, as the color of our skin, or as

fleeting as an erratic definition designed to divide us. It
is not based on self-worth. It is based on GOD-worth. 13

It is not a matter of who we are; it is a matter of WHOSE

we are!
