now, and in what is to come in the future. One gains
this understanding only through prayerful and devoted
study of the Bible. As we observe how events foretold
by ancient prophets come to fulfillment, we understand
the Biblical basis and truth of this statement. As we see

this truth, we can only stand in awe and praise for the
GOD who is and always has been in ultimate control.
We then know why we need not fear!

Non-believers may have difficulty accepting this truth.
However, those who study the Bible, particularly those
who are deeply rooted in Biblical prophecy will come to
know the truth. Prophecy scholars tell us that there are
more than 2500 prophecies revealed in the Bible. Of
these, more than 2000 have already been fulfilled. It is a
life-changing journey to try to identify each prophecy
and seek to learn of its fulfillment. The precision that
prophecies have been and are being fulfilled is

astonishing. When we study prophecies and trace their
fulfillments, we begin to understand why GOD is
AWESOME. Prophecy proves that GOD is everything the
Bible tells us that HE is, and so much more. For the first
time, we can grasp the full realization that it is
“impossible” that GOD is not our Creator. It is

“impossible” that HE did not send HIS SON to redeem us.
HE is worth all we have to give and much more.

Knowing the certainty of this truth will soon become
vital knowledge to every Christian who is alive as we

approach what is coming in the near future. Faithful
believers will soon endure increasing persecutions. As
we will discuss in subsequent Chapters 8 - 9, tyranny is
