As soon as you are notified of a stolen/hijacked and recovered vehicle claim: All stolen/hijacked and recovered vehicles (including mandated claims) must be reported within 2 (two) days after first notification of loss.
10.1.1 Complete notification process through the Hollard Insure Procurement Pages website. https://procurement.hollard.co.za/Hollard_PP/Login.aspx within 2 (two) days after first notification of loss. Provide a copy of the vehicle registration certificate as required for upliftment purposes.
Motor Claims Procedures
  9.2.6.1.1 Paid up vehicles:
Once liability has been accepted, please send the original deregistration certificate and key (if available) to the SVR department.
Д Deregistration certificate: When the claim is a total loss (stolen/ hijacked) and the vehicle was NOT recovered, the original deregistration including supporting documentation (NCO Part A completed and signed) must be sent to the SVR department. The vehicle should be deregistered as stolen and not as scrapped.
9.2.6.1.2 Financed vehicles:
The SVR department will assist with the requests below from the finance house:
Д Settlement documentation: Copy of registration certificate and settlementletter.Providethefinancehousenameandaccountnumber to the SVR department via email and settlement documentation will be requested on your behalf.
Д Original deregistration/registration certificate: Once the finance house has been settled, provide signed agreement of loss and proof of payment made to the finance house to the SVR department via email and the original deregistration/registration certificate will be requested on your behalf.
9.2.7 Hollard Insure dealer stock all stolen/hijacked, not recovered vehicles in Hollard Insure’s name. Hollard Insure’s interest is then recorded on the police system and NaTIS as the legal owner. (Part of SAIA code for salvage and Road Traffic Act).

9.3 Maintenance of a Stolen Vehicle Register: each binder holder should maintain a separate register for
stolen/hijacked vehicles.

Should sufficient information not be available to submit the notification, contact the SVR department on 011 351 1441 or email HollardInsureStolenVehicle@hollard.co.za for guidance.
Appoint an investigator to determine the merits, if not appointed when the stolen vehicle claim was registered.
 10.1.2 Hollard Insure has an internal SVR team.
10.1.3 The SVR department is responsible for the upliftment of all Hollard Insure stolen and recovered vehicles (Claim support).
10.1.4 The SVR department will instruct an accredited service provider who is a specialist in the upliftment of stolen and recovered vehicles.
