                         Through the capillaries, the liquid component of the blood penetrates into the
                  intercellular fluid. To prevent the fluid from accumulating here, its outflow is carried
                  out through the lymphatic vessels. In the lymphatic system, as well as in the circulatory

                  system, smaller vessels unite into larger ones. The intercellular fluid penetrates through
                  the lymphatic capillaries and forms lymph.
                         Lymphatic  vessels  pass  through  the  lymph  nodes,  where  harmful
                  microorganisms are destroyed. In the nodes there are a large number of lymphocytes
                  that are actively involved in the immune reactions of the body. Lymphatic vessels unite
                  into ducts that flow into large veins. Due to this, fluid returns to the bloodstream from
                  the tissues.
