It has become evident over the years there is
a workforce shortage
in multiple industries, speci cally in the construction industry. This workforce shortage has greatly impacted multiple employers in Helena, MT. With the need for more employees, many employers have taken it upon themselves to spread the career
awareness throughout the community. The Helena WINS Construction Committee has acknowledged this workforce shortage in Helena, MT and has made it a priority to partner with local employers in order to take the correct steps in solving this issue.
In 2019 the Helena WINS Construction Committee plans to host an event called “Building Helena from
the Ground Up.” The purpose of the event is to spread awareness to the local schools and community about the potential careers in construction and trades industry. With the help from many local employers, we hope to share what the trades industry has to offer to many students in our community!
