I chose Mr. Herzig because he was one of my favorite teachers at Central Elementary school! I remember him always being funny and humorous. For example, one time, I said “pacific” in class, meaning specific, and he kept correcting me. I’d keep repeating “pacific.” Finally I said “in particular,” and he busted up laughing. I also remember the “White Rabbit” game. On the first of each month, the whole class would try to “white rabbit” the other teachers by saying white rabbit to them. If you said it, then they couldn’t say it back. Mr. Herzig made school worth going to.
