30Chiribiquete is considered the %u201cCentre of the World%u201d for at least 20 indigenous people; and archaeological discoveries have established this has been the case for a very long time. .The Carijona see themselves as custodians of this portal to divine, entrusted with the responsibility of protecting and honouring the wisdom that Chiribiquete holds. The enigmatic symbols and celestial alignments are a way to communicate with the gods and to tap into the primal forces that govern the universe. Each depiction, each intricate pattern, is a sacred code that unlocks the mysteries of existence and reaffirms the Carijona%u2019s place in the cosmic order. The rock paintings are in line with the Carijona%u2019s codex, a visual scripture left by ancestors who con-versed with the divine. The images, are etched with ochre and blood. They tell stories of creation, of gods who descended on beams of light, and of heroes who ventured into the under-world to bring back sacred knowledge. There is not very much knowledge about the total number of cave paintings, no accurate dates of endeavour, how far they extend, what they mean and how and why they were created. However, Chiribiquete%u2019s rock art remains a source of guidance and insight for those who seek to understand the deeper truths of existence.%u201cTHE CENTRE POINT%u201d Chiribiquete%u2019s rock art provides a substantial library for Kan%u00e1. As a Jaguar%u2019s Apprentice, he will be allowed to visit this sacred realm, and open his mind to the sacred knowledge stored here. But questions are being answered... More recent research in Chiribiquete has begun to provide preliminary revelations as to the extent of the art%u2019s historical and cultural significance. The images of now-extinct Ice Age mammals suggests that Chiribiquete has been the site of at least 10 thousand years of human occupation... Long before the arrival of the Spanish Conquistadors. The ceasefire between the government and the FARC in 2016, allowed for a more intensive investigation of region. Research carried out between 2016 and 2017 by an international, multi-disciplinary team provided further evidence that Chiribiquete was, as previously thought, one of the earliest sites of human occupation in the Amazon region and that Chiribiquete was considered a divine epicentre. And now in 2024, this film will extend research in and around the Chiribiquete rock art. The latest technology will be used to explore, analyse and survey little known sites. The results will be shared and discussed with relevant and authentic experts all over the world.
