The Chair Project: Our place at the table
Inspired by the Shirley Chisholm Cultural Institute project ‘Whose
Truth Travels’, Gen-All’s Chair project celebrates community,
belonging and constructive, empathic collaboration across
generations.
Shirly Chisholm, the first black Congresswoman said
“If they don’t give you a seat at the table, bring a folding chair”
The Gen-All grassroots network has created a mountain of chairs
to bring to the table of social cohesion and community
cooperation, across the age spectrum. Enjoy our creativity and join
us as we take our place at the centre of debate and action for a
happier and more compassionate world.
