Sp2rts Banquet
On May 19,2002, the Carrollton Sports Banquet was held at the J.W. Marriot Hotel on Brickell Avenue. The Sports
Banquet began with a luncheon for athletes and their families an award ceremony recognizing all of Carrollton’s
athletes. The three major awards given at the Sports Banquet were Scholar Athlete to Adriane Vega; Outstanding
Athlete to Lara Del Rio and Sportsmanship Award to Beatriz Taboas and Andrea Rad. The day was a success and
the athletes, coaches, administration and parents had an enjoyable afternoon.
