The Carrollton Debate Team competed in twenty policy debate tournaments this school year. At both the national and
local level, Carrollton debaters were awarded for their outstanding speaking and argumentative skills. They reached late
elimination rounds at over a dozen national competitions. Carrollton Debate boasts the Top Speaker of the Second Year
National Championship tournament as well as the Fifth Place varsity debater at the National Debate Coaches Association
National Championship tournament.
