The Carrollton Chapter of Medical Students in Action (CMSA) is a non-profit organization providing medical assistance in the form
of mini-clinics to impoverished villages in San Cristobal, Dominican Republic. In living Goal III, "a social awareness which impels to
action, each spring CMSA members make a mission trip to San Cristobal and help the organization’s doctors as Spanish translators.
The local people lack proper medical care, and live so simply, without complaint. It's important to take time to think of something other
than ourselves and to take action. We encourage future Carrollton generations to continue participating in this program.
