During the week of Oct. 22-26,1990
red clad high schoolers roamed the halls
of Carrollton in celebration of National
Red Ribbon Week.
The week was kicked off with an all
school pep rally in which the winners of
the "Say No to Drugs” Poster Contest
were announced. The ceremony ended
when students representing the differ­
ent grades stepped forward to present
the collected signatures of their class­
mates as a token gesture of their com­
mitment to fight drug abuse.
Later in the week, students from
Belen Jesuit Preparatory School with the
help from Carrollton and Lourdes stu­
dents staged a play entitled "Whatever
Happened to Us”. The play was written
and directed by Alex Oliver, a student
at Belen. |J9
