Celebration

the feast of

On October 19,1990, Carrollton celebrated the Feast of Mater Admirabilis, a tradi
tion shared by all Sacred Heart Schools around tlje world. To honor Mater on her feast
day, the High School dedicated this day to the Celebration of Womanhood. In doing
so mothers and daughters were invited to enjdy an interesting and inspiring talk given
by Sister Mary Holtz, on Women and Literatures
The day ended with the traditional liturgy at St. Hugh Church Where Father Robert
Vallee helped the Carrollton community focus on the importance of Motherhood and
the message of Mater Admirabilis.
