New coach Jennifer Stallings surely had her
hands full when she took over the junior high
cross country team. However, she enthusiasti­
cally believes that "the runners were able to
push through their emotional and physical
obstacles." Led by Lara del Rio, the team suc­
cessfully completed the season. Both del Rio
and Samantha Miller made the All Conference
Team!

"... an incredible season!"

Under the direction of new head coach
Mary Aparicio, the young varsity team made
quite an impression this year. Freshman
Rosario Vadia led the pack with cyclone
speed as the team raced its way to state com­

petition for the second year in a row. Ending
the season with a record of 12-5, the team cap­
tured the District 6, Class 3A Runners Up tro­
phy. According to coach "Appa Pappa," the
team "... had an incredible season!"
