FIELD DAY
Field Day is the day on which the Sophomores have
a chance to demonstrate their love for the rest of the
school. It is also a great opportunity to prove that
they have finally passed through the “frolicking fresh
men” stage and have indeed obtained the mature
sophomore status.
Much thought, time and effort goes into planning
this day which includes such events as the balloon
toss, swimming relay, tug of war and backgammon.
The students divide themselves in decorative
clothes of blue and gold, challenging each other while
protecting the honor of their own team.
Field Day is only the beginning of events between
the Blue and Gold Teams which will take place
throughout the year.
