“It’s finally here!” yelled senior Samar
Uthman, as she stepped off the bus for the
Blast-Off Party at Walt Disney World’s
Pleasure Island. Grad Nite, a night antici­
pated by seniors across the nation, finally
arrived for Carrollton students on May 5,
2000. Since the Magic Kingdom is opened
exclusively for seniors during that night, this
year the students enjoyed activities such as
personalized concerts from Jessica Simpson
and Destiny’s Child, plus a variety of rides
throughout the Magic Kingdom. Grad Nite
was a fun time for all!
