Writers, make-up artists, songwriters, and
set designers are some of the roles the fifth
graders played in their annual fifth grade
opera. A long-standing tradition at Carrollton,
the students wrote and composed their own
original opera. Directed By Ms. Mauch and
Ms. Levine, the fifth graders put a great deal of
their effort throughout the school year to put on
a wonderful production full of color, song, and
dance. This year's extraordinary opera took
place on March 9, 1998. Students, parents,
and faculty assembled to view the opera with
its colorful set designs and costumes. The
singing was extremely commendable and all
the fifth graders did a phenomenal job in
preparing for their journey back in time!
