The year began at the JH with the famous "breakfast nook"
in place and no fence up on the Duchesne Campus Bayside
Lawn. As time went on, a slow and amazing transformation
began. First a fence, then a hole, and eventually, ever
so slowly, a building grew. Day by day the change was
imperceptible and at times, the community would almost
forget that it was happening. The black fence loomed in our presence and
awakened our attention at lunch. At the odd moment, large noises would
enter our life and periodically, trucks would disrupt our comings and going.
One day, a concrete wall peered above the fence. Soon after that window
were installed, columns were inserted, a roof was added and the when the
windows and doors were inserted there was an excitement of something very
real and new!!!!! The process has been a thrilling and exciting, with much less
disruption than we anticipated. ON TO THE NEW!!!!!!
