Mania! winning the World Series. Along with most of

Miami. Carrollton girlsjumped on the bandwagon
and became major fanatics.

Marlins fever swept through the Carrollton
halls last October, as the Marlins took Miami on
a wild ride that ended in a World Series victory
over the New York Yankees. The start of the season
was rocky, but Jack McKeon, the oldest manager in
the league, came to lead the Marlins in May and
truly turned the team around. A team of young
players, the Marlins inspired Miami to "jump on the
bandwagon." At Carrollton, Marlins fever inspired
Halloween costumes and spirited conversation. We
will never forget the fun times and excitement that
our Marlins provided.
