[ L s n December 12, 2003, unlike Cinderella, as the clock struck twelve,
no one's dresses turned back into rags and no limos were turned back
into pumpkins. Instead, Carrollton girls from nintk grade to twelfth grade
were leaving their Christmas Formal. The semi-formal event took place at
Carrollton's very own El Jardin which was beautifully decorated. Everyone
| was
I dressed for the occasion. The girls looked beautiful in their dresses
and the boys, who we are used to seeing in baggy jeans and tee-shirts,

cleaned up nicely wearing suits or dress pants and button down shirts. The Villanueva kace a great time with
couples danced the night away and when they weren't dancing they were mends.

Christmas spirit, the formal was a most stunning affair.
