                Retreat




     It  was  a  beautiful  day  on  October  7,  2003,  as
                                                           Friends Foreoer. Elizabeth, Wolfsthal, Alexandra, Arroliga, Josefina
    the  freshman  class  were  enjoying  their  retreat  at   Aguila, Rebecca Torres, Natalie Rodriguez, Mariana Becerra, and
    the  Archdiocese  Youth  Center.  The  retreat  theme
    was  "Be  Bread  to  Others"  and  they  participated
    in  many  activities  including  private  reflections
    indoors and outdoors,  breaking and sharing  bread,
    listening  to  songs,  and  most  importantly,
    praying. They had many important guests that day.
    Sr.  Cooke talked about the girls  being  "women for
    others" and Mrs. Turner performed her own little skit
    to aid the girls in sacrificing for others. There were
    also Junior retreat  leaders who  were  a great source
    of comfort to the new freshmen and reassured them
    that they would very much enjoy the journey ahead      Sister Act. Sister Cooke attended  the retreat and gaee the girls a talk
    of  them  in  High  School.  It  was  a  beautiful  day   about sacrificing things for other people.
    bursting  with  prayer  and  happiness.  Mrs.  Panzer
    said  it was  "a  very positive  and  successful  event."
