Carrollton, from Field Day, to
Spirit Week, to Conge, there is
a rigorous academic calendar for
most students. Carrollton offers a
variety of AP and Honors classes
that would challenge most grown

adults. Mr. Velez, the AP Physics

teacher, showed his students a
chart which says that in the state n 9 tn S <Sa
of Florida out of 8 0 0 girls that
took the AP Physics Exam only
36% passed. Out of eight girls
that took the test at Carrollton
last year, six girls passed the test.
Carrollton steps up academically
and builds a curriculum that is
rigorous and challenging. It is
because of this that the students
who graduate from Carrollton can
go on to academically rigorous
colleges and universities.
