The entire Carrollton community mourned this year when
beloved High School teacher Robert De Los Santos passed away.
Mr. De Los Santos had taught at Carrollton for more than ten
years and his contributions were numerous. Aside from teaching
Music Humanities and various Literature courses, he also
taught Drama for a few years, brought bach the Masquerade
Ball, played in school masses, and, most importantly, touched
our hearts and made us smile.
We will never forget the way he constantly teased the
freshmen or his mischievous pranhs and practical johes. We
will forever be able to chant together "First come the tears, then
the parent/teacher conference, and then Lourdes", as he often
warned us about not studying. We will always remember how, at
soccer games, you cheered us on with rousing cheers meant for
an entirely different sport. But, most of all, we will all feel safer
hnowing that there is a new angel in heaven watching over us.
