This year's Feast Wishes were "cooked up" by the chef d'extrordinaire, Ms. Audy Spurgeon and her
helpers, the Intermediate girls. The Benoist Living Room was transformed into a Christmas wonderland
with Christmas aprons strung on lines through the room and kitchen utensils dangling from the ceiling.
The Intermediate Girls wrote recipes to describe each member of the faculty and staff. Each adult's
contributions were lauded by the girls in a very special recipe made with creativity and kindness and
cooked with love. The aprons were given to staff as Christmas gifts from the girls and the utensils were
used later that day in the baskets of food that the girls decorated, packed and delivered to marginalized
families in the West Grove and Homestead.
