Every year the eighth grade drama class hosts two plays, one each semester. This year
the first play was adapted from Walt Disney's "The Jungle Book." The play took place
in the Junior High assembly room on Friday, December 5th, 2003. Mr.Y's inspiration
was taken from Julie Taymor's ground-breaking staging for Disney's "The Lion King"
on Broadway. The costumes combine Indian influences and elemenets of the animals
they are meant to represent, creating a visually interesting show.
