A New Beginning

July 2004
I stopped by the High School this summer and was shockedI Shocked
with the new construction. Picture this: the PAC has been cut in half,
the library has been moved to Mr. Hacker's old room, portables are
being used for classrooms, their doors missing that have been made
into walls, the side of the school is an empty lot of dirt, and the new
bathroom is inoperable. Walking down the halls is not the same as
it was before. Student Life has been moved to Mr. Danguillecourfs
office. I was confused, but shortly after found my way around. The
school is changing, not ust the High School but the Junior High as

well. The Junior High building is amazing. Yet, among the midst of
this chaos of construction there is a positive side to it being that the
future of Carrollton will be astounding. The architectural drawings
look awesome. It is apparent that we are all willingly coming together
and making the sacrifice to better our school for the students to come.
Construction can get a bit crazy, but in the end it will definitely be
worth it to see how our school has evolved into a historical modern
beauty.
