Robotics N A O !


        In early April, a few students from the Intermediate School participated in the Sacred Heart Network NAO Robot Competition.
        Each team coded the NAO robots to perform a dance or skit in French, Mandarin or Spanish. The following are the results:

                    First Lego League

                                 Robotics
         This year's First l.ego ! .eague Robotics teams'
         researched innovative ways of learning. One of
         the teams invented a board game that would
         help students learn about the parts of the body.
         Another team designed a travelling steam bus
         enabling them to share their work with students
         throughout the state.


         This season, the Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Grade
         teams scored high in Core Values. One of the
         teams, Team Sophie, won the Core Values award
         at the prequalifier and impressed the judges in
         their ability to explain their missions.
