A t Carrollton, we are encouraged to be
strong women of the Sacred Heart. This
year's senior service project required not only
strength of character, but physical strength as
well. The senior class spent a productive day
working with Habitat for Humanity. W e
shovels and pick axes; we climbed
and installed insulation; we dug
For one whole day
we were
hot and tired, no one complained. Rather,
everyone was commenting on how rewarding
the experience had been. W e met the people
who will be living in the houses on which
we worked, and the people who build with
Habitat for Humanity every day. The whole
experience brought us closer to understanding
community outside our immediate Carrollton
community.
